To locate your service tag number:

Desktops: Located on the top or side of the system	Laptops: Located on the bottom of the device

From your desktop:

Right click the start button, in the pop up menu select system.

The About window will appear and display basic information about your computer. Under Device Specifications Category, the Device name is the first listed.
