The asset number is on a sticker located on the device and will say "Upper Iowa University Information Technology" and have a bar code with the asset number. If you cannot find it, or are unsure, please let us know.

Desktops:
There are 2 different styles of Asset Tag Stickers. Below are different locations as to where it can be located.

Laptops :

Located on the lid of your laptop

From your desktop:

Right click the start button, in the pop up menu select system.

The About window will appear and display basic information about your computer. Under Device Specifications Category, the Device name is the first listed.
