Web Print from your personal devices

We must first point out that UIU IT Services does not support personal devices such as laptops, tablets and smart phones. Should you experience difficulties with this service, it is up to you to correct it; this service is to be used purely at your own risk. The information that you will need to use the Web Print service is listed below.

Before you are able to print a document from your own device, you MUST be on the MyResNet wireless network.

1. Open a web browser and go to https://print.uiu.edu/user Log in with your myUIU portal username and password


2. From the sidebar on the left, click Web Print.


3. Click Submit a Job.


4. Choose uiu-ps2\CopierPIN (virtual) to print to Konica Minolta Printers or uiu-ps2\HpPIN (virtual) to print to a HP Printer. If you have 12+ sheets, you can choose to print to the PrintShopBW or PrintShopColor for a discounted pricing per page. Then click on Print Options and Account Selection.


5. Choose your desired number of copies and then click Upload Documents.


6. Click Upload from computer and then navigate to the folder where you saved your file. You may upload multiple files at a time (or you may also drag and drop). Please see the table below for the list of supported file formats, and please do not upload files larger than 100 MB. Then press Upload & Complete.


WebPrint can read the following file types:

7. The Web Print status page will then display the upload progress. Once your document’s status updates to Held in queue, you may then print it from any UIU printer after releasing it at the printer itself using your printing pin.

8. You can find your printing pin from the left side of the webpage under Change Details. You can generate a number by clicking Generate number.
